Using books as price ref in today's market is futile anyway. My interest is rather images and descriptions of the various watches. It makes it easier to get an idea if something you look at is legit or not.
I wish I could have bought stuff today at the prices I see in my current collection of watch related guides..... 😵💫
When I bought my E855 stainless steel JLC Memovox some years ago a friend called his father who is an old school watch collector. He checked his guides, and I was told that I had grossly overpaid for it at EUR1200. 😁
