Got this after meeting up with Kyle in Midtown Manhattan today: Then,Harvel and I took a stroll down to Canal Street and had lunch with Eddie (Frunkinator)... Took in the Brooklyn Bridge and Little Italy while I was down there:
The most expensive watch in my eyes: the one my father entrusted me with. Probably a cal 266 from the mid 50's but will have to check and report . Rough around the edges and in need of some love.
This very nice Longines ref 6666: PS I have made a thread asking a question about it here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/a-beautiful-longines-calatrava-and-some-questions.43513/
Got this box yesterday. It must be good it says omega on box: Let see what they gave me......Mmmmm, looks nice: On monday I had another income that I bought from @Kringkily some time ago, but it needed some time to come in my hands Its like new, maybe worn 1 day, still has sticker on back ☺ and in perfect condition: Enough watches for some time for me....
Noted! Using books as price ref in today's market is futile anyway. My interest is rather images and descriptions of the various watches. It makes it easier to get an idea if something you look at is legit or not. I wish I could have bought stuff today at the prices I see in my current collection of watch related guides..... When I bought my E855 stainless steel JLC Memovox some years ago a friend called his father who is an old school watch collector. He checked his guides, and I was told that I had grossly overpaid for it at EUR1200.
Nice jogging button. When you take it to the range, be careful the slide doesn't bite your thumb. I have to adjust my grip slightly to avoid that.
