No idea. All I know was it came from France and had a 7765 inside. And I needed a new holiday beater for $200
Came with a strap and it works. Wonderful bonus for a beater馃榾

This just in....not running/winding/fully seized. I do have a "spare" 5100 sitting idle if too much of a disaster once the case is open. Also need to find a spare link..... 20b441a4d3423a97a31e19de9ac0e888.jpg

Received today my latest find from my eternal quest on Eterna watch.
It had, before delivery a great potential for me(2 tones dial / early gent's Eterna's automatic movement 1249T from 1950 / nice index and rail track)
But flaws were not well disclosed (convenient ligtht reflexion between 11 and 12 on seller's pictures, undisclosed bump from dial feet at 5 and 11)
But hey, I think I'll like it anyway

Bought a little while back, finally landed.
A late 1940s Lemania cal S27 in a very nice condition, apart from the crystal.
The cal S27 is the predecessor to the later cal 3000 series, and was also used as base caliber for the CH27 aka Omega 320/321 according to Ranfft.
It should clean up well.

Question: Do you guys agree that the case ref says 132? 馃榾馃槙

(The fake Patek strap came with the watch......) 馃槻

The ref is 192C

Summer beater Hamilton LL Bean diver
I had one of those 25 years ago. Somewhere between Hawaii and the Northeast (via DC) it turned up missing. Are they even still available?

I'm not sure .I picked it up at the NWACC national at Louisville last weekend. It has been well loved but I like it.
Just picked this up.

Was watching that - looking forward to seeing some better pics
Once I clean it up, I'll get some posted.
