My wife stopped wearing the nice Longines Grand Classique I bought her because she liked this other watch more. Problem is the other watch is a 1980 Bulova RR approved quartz watch my buddy threw out when he retired. She loves it but complains that its kind of beat up. Fast forward three years and don't I find an NOS Bulova RR approved quartz down at the shop..... I slipped it into her jewelery box and tossed the Bulova.... again.
think I take that Longines soon too.
I can't wait till she finds it..... to see how long it takes her to notice its "new"
I have a few watches with 11/16 - 17.5mm lugs. I found a seller on eBay with a bunch of these old ASA size bracelets. Mesh, coffin link, you-name-it. I got an expansion bracelet with a early 1960's watch a few months ago and found I really liked wearing it. So I bought this vintage one for my Heyworth Alarm. *bling*
I got this on the way to score some points. Has anyone seen this bracelet before? I like it, it looks solid and the clasp looks legit, but I've never seen something like it from Omega.
Looking at grabbing some good discounts on servicing my watches post-BREXIT. Later on I'll go search out some NOS pieces in the fifties. Good times ahead.
