Is there anything special to the Martinator case? Not dogging it, just asking as it seems that some of the offerings from Case Club, Invicta and the like available on Amazon offer effectively the same protection. Maybe a different type of foam, extra plush less abrasive surface treatment, etc.?
Either way looks incredibly snazzy and official.
No idea why he is not answering....it is the same kind of foam as in the pelican case laser cut I think. Will pull out the pieces and post a picture, maybe someone "local" to OF can replicate....

Pretty excited about my latest eBay find. Zodiac Sea-Chron with a very nice Valjoux 72 under the hood. These are pretty hard to find and is probably (definitely?) the most collectable Zodiac from the 60's and 70's. I hadn't even seen another example...ever, until Hodinkee sold one with a grey bezel in its shop a few weeks ago. As soon as I saw it, it was added to my "wish list" and luckily one popped up on eBay in great condition and with full set last week. Can't ask for much else!

Having googled, that is awesome... I don't think I have enough organs to cover the purchase price though...
Made a trade for it a while back....still not sure I did the right thing. Although I still have my kidneys.

I fell in love with a Sinn 556i... Grabbed a handful of ZuluDiver Zulus in the watch gecko sale... This is going to be my daily/beater. 😀

1960 Seamaster with green dial (seller's pic)

Turned out to be a repainted dial -so back to the seller it went. Oh well.

Remind me to not ask @jordn to talk me out of buying a watch.

Nice. DIBS!! What size is it? (there was one sold on Ebay around Nov-dec out of US South West- curious : is it the same one?)

A wacko ladies' watch (26 x32.5 length) I was able to negotiate ... $_57.JPG
Due to replace a much more expensive one and allow its release.
And this will fit my double wrap strap, won't have to be wound, and can be banged around safely with that famous Wyler shock protection system.

Thanks! Kinda small, 32-33mm. It was noted by someone else that this was recently sold on eBay but that's not where I got it, could be the same.

Received this yesterday. Was a bit surprised by the small size of the watch. Will definitely be a 40-41mm next time. Struggling with the idea if I should bother replacing the crystal, what do you think? It is after all beaten up.

What is this? Vintage? Modern? Model number?
Sorry, didn't see this until now. Heuer Camaro 7743s. Valjoux 7730 movement. Late 60's I believe.
