Wish I could be wearing this today, but it was absolutely FILTHY. Bought this Omega Ladymatic [Seamaster] a few days ago online, and it arrived in the mail today. I don't feel guilty at all now about the fact that I got the seller down to under $100 (she was asking $150, originally) - the band is not original (Speidel SS)/wrong size, and based on what I'm seeing from research, it probably had a leather strap (correct me if I'm wrong!). The clasp wouldn't even close the watch was so full of black, disgusting gunk. I knew it ran before I bought it, but now I'm amazed it does. I am convinced the seller or the last owner of this watch was a ZOMBIE. Blech. Took these pictures after I gave the poor thing the best clean I could - any dark/black spots you see on the back of the head or in the bracelet links/crevices is what I'm going to call dirt for my own sanity. Not rust or corrosion, but... er, "dirt". Dropping off tomorrow to be serviced/CLEANED, and fitted with a proper SS bracelet. #RescuedFromTheLivingDead *Apologies for the poor lighting >> poor photos. I wish I could take better photos in sunlight, but it's evening here and this is going straight to the jeweler first thing in the morning.
Something that has an auto movement, a clean dial, is waterproof to 200m, and can take a bit of abuse. Plan to use this as a work/travel beater, and carry a stash of NATOs to dress it up/down.
judging from the stain on the crankcase and the smell in the garage I'll be buying a friggin waterpump as soon as possible dammit.......
I've never noticed that ,but they do custom wrk as well. I'm assuming most of there cases are some sort of copy of Pelican Sent from Galaxy S6 Edge via Tapacrap
Yes, of course. I never really sell anything but I won't forget if I do sell this one. It really is a good looking watch - I'm flattered by what you wrote!
