I sent an offer under the BIN, and a few hours later the auction was closed. I kicked myself up and down for not paying the full price, and left a few people on the street wondering whether I might be suffering from Tourette Syndrome.

Then, oddly, I received a response from the seller, but ignored it, continuing to assume that I had missed the boat. Finally, I translated the message, replied, and low and behold, I had been too dumb to realize that the auction had simply expired.

What a rollercoaster! And what a relief, as I love the damn thing.
