Just got this one - Omega Speedmaster 125th Anniversary.
First officially certified chronometer chronograph movement ever. 2000 pieces made back in 1973, cal. 1041 (COSC certified cal.1040)
Now, a quick question: how is the watch module attached to the case?
Later edit: found the answer in AJTT 馃榾 it had a ring gasket that probably went missing on mine.
P.S. Now I see why they go on sale pretty often; this is one heavy uncomfortable watch! Won't last long in my possession, I can feel it...
ChicagoFrog! You were a great pleasure to deal with and superb through the whole sale process. True Gent!! Thank you a million. Shall treasure this new purchase.
I was wondering whether or not it would be taken in good taste if a thread were started along the lines of 'What did you buy today'.......but extended to include 'late night on Ebay whilst intoxicated'?

Okay, it's not a watch. And you can't wear it on your wrist. And I didn't buy it in the traditional sense (since I "built" it). But I couldn't resist posting it anyway. I got it running today.
It's a Tektronix 520A NTSC Vectorscope, an instrument designed to measure quality of analog television signals. This relatively complex instrument is totally obsolete in this age of digital television so they can be found relatively cheaply on eBay. I converted it into a clock using an electronic circuit.
