Here's a 1988 Speedmaster with the elusive (and extremely comfortable) 1450 bracelet, from Japan. Patina on the markers is quite amazing, in my opinion. While trying to remove a link to size the bracelet, I found that the removable pins were so corroded that the fixed pins would bend before the removable pins would come out. So I soaked the bracelet in a 50/50 solution of acetone/ATF for a couple of days, and all the removable pins freed up. I replaced them with stainless pins (16mm shaved down to 15.5mm, .9mm diameter) just to be safe. I adjusted the timing on the Ace, and after a week on the wrist it's 2 seconds fast (total, not per day). I'm happy.
