A Defy diver.

Wasn't expecting the box that came with it, so it was a nice surprise.

Anyone know if the box is the right one for this reference?

The box is probably younger than the watch, but they're not that far apart. The Defy is probably from around 1969, and the box might be mid 70's.

Score! Is that a GF bracelet? If I'm not mistaken, I see these sell/trade for 400 to 600 usd when offered for sale...maybe more??

Got this watch about three weeks ago and had some bracelet problems at customs. Well I got the Fedex bill today!
Plus I got this UG for 55chf thinking I would use the hands and original crown on another but it's actually better then expected. I fell guilty using it for pieces.

Doubt this version of the GF is worth that much. One that fit an early El Primero maybe. It never looked so to me, but the bracelet is quite comfortable on the wrist, and has very secure double-close clasp - very well-made.

Ahhhh, that's why I hedged a bit. Wasn't sure. Guy Freres bracelets are worth good money - some a lot more than others. There are dudes here who know every single detail about Zenith - I'm not one of 'em lol

I have a single El Primero which I bought years ago for practically nothing. I wish I bought 20, lulzzzz,,,but I'd murder myself if I obsessed about what I could've and should've done with watches.

Nice pick! Saw that for sale this morning, would definitely have gone after it if I were in the market for another Viceroy. Glad to see it's part of one of these families 馃榾

Matt Bain? Very nice example. Second (or third or whatever) the motion for a more detailed presentation of this one...
