I have no idea what I'm going to do with this bracelet, but it's very cool - look at the little turny calendar thing!

I wanted a manual wind. How could I not go with a Speedmaster Pro...but I needed to control my budget. So I went with this Mark II on eBay. Just arrived today. Now I can afford to pay the mortgage. But I could really use the original bracelet...and maybe a racing band.

I've been thinking about a mark II. What do you think of it on your wrist?

It's my first Chrono, so it's considerably thicker than any other watch I have. But I'm quickly adapting...and I enjoy looking at it.

Not at the moment. I am also looking forward to picking up the watch you kindly sold me too, in fact I have three watches waiting for me so it will be like christmas. I might try to sneak another one in, I told the wife I was only planning on buying one watch a year, but sometimes you have to strike while you have the opportunity otherwise you miss out on some great watches....thats the only defence I have, not sure she is buying into it though

Did ask for and get a pic of the back, albeit blurry . . .

I've just purchased a piece of horological history, a 1929 Harwood automatic. I'm really looking forward to servicing this old classic. 😀
