I have that same watch and never realy knew much about it. My grandfather let us dig through his old watches. My little bro found a submariner and I staged this one. If you don't mind me asking. What did you give for it

This Speedy Pro found a new home in my small collection today, courtesy of my wife.

Finally picked up a copy of the 2007 Omegamania catalogue.
At AUS $80 shipped I thought it was worth a look. Still seems a lot for a "freebie" but it all happened before my (watch collecting) time.

Is there one place to go to find out all the "errors" in it?

Gixen.com helped me fill the caliber 352 slot in my Longines automatic collection today. Went semi-Ashley even though I won it at a reasonable price.

    A new Seamaster 2294.50

Its is the Americas Cup Version that will add to my SS Americas Cup from 2003.

In titanium and red gold bezel, picked up off a member on here! I have been after one of these for a while.

Recently picked up this rose gold pie pan with onyx markers and rose gold bor bracelet (needs a new clasp..)

Might be moving it on, as I already have my rose gold of choice! :)

Have the numbers and markers on the bezel been bead blasted? I can't tell if it's just the angle of the photo....the 0 in 50 looks polished, but the rest look very matte.

They can be refinished if needed - much cheaper than replacing it for sure. I serviced this one last year, and as you can see the bezel was a little messed up:

I have a buddy who is very good at refinishing these, and since I don't have a bead blast cabinet, I sent the bezel to him and he did it for me - looks much better:

    Hi Al,

I think it's the picture. There is another for sale on eBay that looks the same as the one you had. I will look at it more closely when it arrives although I think its as it should be as it's hardly been worn.

Cool - I'm not at all a TT guy but this watch is quite nice. Enjoy!

    Beauuuuuuuuuutiful!

Brings back memories, we had a similar radiogram in the sitting room (modern day = lounge) when I was a kid.

I remember shuffling on my bum right up to the speaker when we listened to the serials on the radio after school.

TV didn't come to my town until my teens, and by then I was getting ready to flee the nest but I still remember the sounds and smells of Mum cooking dinner in the kitchen while Hop Harrigan and Tank dealt with bad guys on the radio as my brothers and I listened in awe to their exploits.
