A very nice collectible piece, the 4992B is highly regarded as you are probably aware. The serial number indicates it was issued in 1958.

Just received a package from Scotland today...

And couldn't wait to get it on my wrist!

Am very happy with this, it looks fantastic...second "C" case of the year, think I'm developing a thing for these.

But that's not all, our Scottish friend (we all know who I'm referring to) included a little bonus to the package...

A 24mm mechanical Timex that my 13 year old daughter will love! My daughter always wears a watch and this will be her first mechanical one.

What a generous thing to do! Things like this just don't happen elsewhere, I'm grateful to be a part of such a fine place!

Thanks for the link. Now I just have to start searching for contract numbers, for informational purposes.

    Today arrived from Greece:)

    1680063 in 18k with 1021 movement

I wondered I was the only bidder in this auction two weeks ago ,I think the watch is in very good shape with orig strap and buckle

Not often seen in 18k and I think Iget it for a real price. Gold weight without movement and crystal > 50gr

I'll ignore the slur and let my Legal Beagle handle the compensation claim ;)

Robin Williams was so true to life, working in Glasgow forty odd years ago even I used to struggle to understand what some were saying in the pub.
Mind you we have a good side when it comes to animals :D

Watchmaker update: Dial is clean. Movement dry and dirty but otherwise no major issues.
Just a couple of weeks and then:)!
