Great idea

 

Reminds me a bit of the stylized oxygen tank-type metal tubes that Doxa ships their watches in. It's a neat case and a pretty sturdy alternative to the standard watch box. Would be interesting to see something creative from Omega in this regard.

 

I am number 1 on the list for the Apollo 13 in the AD I normally order Omegas.
They got 5 Apollo 11 this year so at least if they get 1 allocation I will be happy.
Now lets see how that watch looks!!

 

Same here, cancelled my spot on the list for the A11 50SS (was able to procure it sooner at another AD) left my down payment at AD for a possible A13.

 

Fortunately no need of deposit or downpayment in my AD.

I was told to wait until Baselworld by my AD, but I was already able to put myself first one on the list. As soon as the watch comes out I will confirm with them if I want it or not.

 

Are we not due to see an update on the original moonwatch line? I have been waiting to finally buy one until they put the 3861 and some new aesthetic features on the standard moonwatch.

 

My OB would not take a deposit when I offered since the OBs have not been given any information on it. However, when they do, I will be receiving a call to put my deposit down.

 

Is there any evidence that there will even be an Apollo 13 50th anniversary LE? Or is this all just an assumption based solely on speculation?

Concerning 50th anniversary Apollo 13

on Wednesday while collecting my new Bond watch I discussed the Apollo 14 topic with the boutique manager. He told me that they expect the 50th to be announced in the first half of the year. A delivery isn’t before November !! He also heard the rumor that Snoopy could be Speedytuesday no.3

 

Why would snoopy be on a non-apollo watch when the whole point was it's NASA's mascot?
