So, much discussion on the watch design itself...but I had a thought the other day regarding the box which has yet to be discussed.
I think it would be the most unique approach if Omega fashioned the watch box after the improvised hydroxide canister the crew had to reproduce in the LM after the folks on the ground came up with the procedure.
Who else has any thoughts about the box design??

I am number 1 on the list for the Apollo 13 in the AD I normally order Omegas.
They got 5 Apollo 11 this year so at least if they get 1 allocation I will be happy.
Now lets see how that watch looks!!
Is there any evidence that there will even be an Apollo 13 50th anniversary LE? Or is this all just an assumption based solely on speculation?

on Wednesday while collecting my new Bond watch I discussed the Apollo 14 topic with the boutique manager. He told me that they expect the 50th to be announced in the first half of the year. A delivery isn’t before November !! He also heard the rumor that Snoopy could be Speedytuesday no.3 👎
