I asked them to order it about the same time I put a deposit on the Apollo 50th.... so I’ve probably been waiting since the early part of the year.

They're in stock on online shops but none are in the US so I'm not gonna cancel mine to reorder elsewhere.

Did you have to do any modification to the end links or spring bar? Or was it quite easy just to fit?

I’m not convinced it fits great. The protruding lip on the end link, which should mate with the opposite hole in the case, doesn’t...as such the end link is angle in toward the watch, and just looks off to me. But don’t mind me, I am a pedant.

No adjustments needed. I'm not sure how you'd modify it anyway. I'm wearing a 145.022-68ST. It fits perfect.

Got the bracelet this morning. It’s on my 68 transitional and fits great.
Can you post a pic of how it fits against caseback?

I'm not sure if you're seeing a strange reflection, or if I'm just not understanding you. There's no protrusions anywhere.

Hmm same as the last guy who tried, the ridges ride up over the mid case. Not a perfect fit but assuming it isn't going to fly off then I guess it is acceptable. The best solution is likely still to be to remove the ridges from the bracelet, but I can understand if people are reluctant to do so after spending all that coin to buy it. Bloody Omega making it so difficult to use.

The other original end links literally overlap the case. The fact that these have a slight rise is no different than the other end links that sit above and on top of the case.

If you remove the bracelet and look at your end links closely, you will see a protrusion which is intended to mate with the case this bracelet is intended for. I have marked it in yellow...the red clearly shows how this end link does not fit properly...when installed in the watch it is intended for, it sits flush in all dimensions...clearly here it does not.

The tell to me on every single photo I have seen of a regular moonwatch with this bracelet, is highlighted in the following picture.

The yellow arrows point to parts of the endlink which sit higher in the plane of the watch than the part pointed to by the red arrow. It should be the other way around. But as mentioned, don’t mind me I am a pedant! It’s a cracking bracelet...enjoy!

So far we have seen one example which needed a shorter, thinner spring bar to make it work, here we have an example which seems to have used the normal springbar, but neither bracelet fits perfectly. And is there ANY play in the end links? It comes down to how fussy you are with how the end links match up to the case (gaps, uneven surfaces) and how confident you are that there is no possibility of the spring bar failing to hold it all together when out in the wild. It really comes down to the 'lip' that is part of the end link, it's there for a reason to stabilize the bracelet on the Apollo 11 case. At this point this fitment isn't something I'd be comfortable doing, but great for others to experiment.
