I looked it up again today, for reference the part numbers is 020STZ011626. No price is listed, and it says:

Yes, I tried it on, it is a nice bracelet, it wasn't sized for me but when the links were pulled together the fit was comfortable.

 

It does not fit a normal speedy, my OB tried and it did not work, there is like a step on the middlecase of the watch and in the endlink to lock it instead of the normal little piece of metal going out on the lugs

 

Some time has passed since the last post. Has anyone confirmed if this is available to anyone? Also is the "special fitment for LEs only" a myth or has it been confirmed?

 

Could different endlinks be used?

 

I don't see much endlinks that would fit, maybe 516? but good luck finding those...

 

I need to see a picture of this end link cause if its stepped then the larger step is the visible side and the smaller step is the underside..... meaning it would fit any 20mm speedy with the exception of not having the tabs a normal end link has to keep it from rotating. If it's something more complicated than that, then my intrest is peaked.

 

As I said before it does not fit. The endlinks have some extra material and the case as a step cut inside. To make it work you would have to somehow file down the endlinks but then nothing would hold them from rotating or you have to remove some material from your midcase for the notch to fit. I don't understand what you're saying about larger steps and smaller steps, but this is not like a regular end link that extends beneath the lugs. There's a lip on the end link (that fits into a notch on the case) that prevents fitment of the bracelet to other watches. You can search through my posts on the "Any in the wild" thread for a detailed explanation why.

 

That's all I needed to see. If I can get my hands on a bracelet I can easily machine that step away.

 

Yes, you can machine that step away, but how do you secure the end links so that they won't rotate (move up and down) when you attach the bracelet? The two pins of the springbar won't do this. But give it a shot and report back.

 

I've removed the tabs (the normal tabs not this kind of step) off other end links in the past to make them work on other watches and yes it rotates slightly but it's nothing crazy. Also if it were to work you could just silver solder on some new tabs, not like you'll see them when its worn.

 

The bracelet is now listed with pricing, and there doesn't appear to be any restrictions. Since bracelets are not restricted parts, you could call your local Omega service center and see if they will sell you one.

 

Try aqua terra 20mm would be another choice.Anyway It butterfly clasp and Not taper that much as 50th

Saw couple weeks back someone posted on another forum that they were told by a swiss OB it was the equivalent of about $710. Not a bad deal if that's the case. I just fit a brand new 1171 into mine so I'm out at the moment.

 

Cool I was thinking 800ish... maybe 1000 for LE and that would be "reasonable"
I'll go today and price it and check in on my watch while I'm at it. I'll report back later. Only issue I can find is they arent very good at finding straps and stuff when I ask so this could be challenging haha.

 

The end link fits flush with the case similar to the way the solid end links do on the standard Speedmaster Professional bracelet. Carefully machining off the lip should work, if one can afford a $700 experiment. I'm interested to see how it goes.

 

Exaclty, didn't know how to explain that but in my experience on non omegas the "rotation" mentioned is minimal and the "tabs" on normal end links just stop the end link from rubbing the case not from rotating in circles. I'm willing to experiment for 700ish haha
