I'd prefer not to have the vintage jangley sound on such a modern looking watch
I have a love hate relationship with the jangle. I'd prefer a milled clasp any day but the vintage style clasps are so handy since they have a bazillion adjustment holes haha. I wish omega would remake the old style clasps but with a heavy milled clasp cover and no buttons, just push to close (friction clasp)

For me it all depends on the watch. If it's a vintage type watch the jangley sound doesn't bother me at all. I have a Smiths Everest (36mm Rolex Explorer 1016 homage) that works perfectly with an old school stamped clasp and hollow end links. The AT is too modern for me to enjoy with a vintage sound and feel. But the 5 micro-adjust holes are awesome which is why I created this combo.

... I actually like the look with the Forstner clasp on my AT but I'd prefer not to have the vintage jangley sound on such a modern looking watch.

I might not be getting you correctly ..

In my mind, the jangley sound comes more from the hollow end-links rather than from the clasp itself.

I used to think that myself. It's not true. It's the clasp that jangles most. My AT has solid end links, a solid link bracelet, and old school stamped clasp (the Forstner). When I hold the watch by the case I can rattle the bracelet around like it's a 1965 Submariner.

Yes, but once worn on the wrist tight just enough, it's the hollow links that make the faint sound. Definitely not the clasp.

If the Aqua Terra is 17mm then the 20mm Speedmaster bracelet will be way too wide and I suspect it won’t fit.

The Apollo 11 50th Anniversary bracelet tapers from 20mm to 15mm.

Is it the same with the 321 ed white speedmaster bracelet? Or can you simoly walk in a boutique amd buy the bracelet?
Did anybody tried to put that bracelet on a FOIS (I guess different end links are needed, maybe would work with the ones from uncle seiko..)?

so will think abiut buying the 321 bracelet, will depend of the cost. Anyone has an idea how much it will cost?

So I finally bought the Apollo 11 bracelet to install on my 38mm Aqua Terra bracelet. As I suspected, it fits with no alterations required.

I do not like butterfly clasps like the one standard to the AT and I also need at least one micro-adjust hole to so I can make the bracelet larger if I need to. The Apollo 11 bracelet accomplishes that. I'm also planning to drill a third micro-adjust hole to give me further flexibility. I don't know why Omega doesn't make this with three micro-adjust holes--there's clearly enough room to do it without inhibiting the clasp action.

I polished the center links of the Apollo 11 links and brushed the side links the match the AT. I'm going to leave the clasp as is because I think it looks just fine and I'd prefer to have the center portion brushed since that area of the bracelet takes a lot of abuse and scratching.

This was not a cheap alteration, as the Apollo 11 bracelet costs ~$700. However, this AT has replaced my Rolex Batman (which I sold) so paying this amount to make the watch perfect for me was not an issue. While I think you can buy just the clasp, I needed the links that connect to the clasp in order to make it work so I needed to purchase the entire bracelet.

Can anyone who has this bracelet pls let me know how much length each of the sizeable links adds to the bracelet?

I’m looking for the measurement in the picture:

That is surprisingly hard to measure. Best I could do laying it flat and pulling to take out the slack, between 39mm and 40mm for seven links.

Thanks gents! Really appreciate it. I’ve ordered from the Omega service centre and will be getting them to size prior to sending.

In the event I have miscalculated how many links to remove and need to do some sizing myself. If anyone has a specific screwdriver recommendation (size, brand, link, etc) that works well for this bracelet please do share.

1.5mm. The slot is pretty wide so you'll want a fat blade to match.

Or, if it's not right, take it to your local jeweler, who will likely do the job for free.

Regardless, take into account wrist size change over the course of the day.
