Look what I did to mine after having it for just a couple of weeks:

I got a new bracelet and kept on trucking. I don't see this model as having any significant resale value retention. If you flip watches, you'll likely take a bath on this one whether it has a scratch or not. I say wear it and enjoy it as the tool watch it was meant to be.
