The good old no shipping outside the US seller. Boy do I hate them.
I hear you mate, here in Australia many Yanks still think we're convicts 😒

I have a sick feeling this is one of my jokes only I think is funny.

There are few secrets any more to be uncovered on eBay.

No worries. Was only kidding really myself.
The eBay listing does say Speedmaster in the title after all so I expect there was plenty of 'watching' going on well before this thread.

I don't know enough about the earlier ones to put any more than a seriously speculative bid in.

Interesting that bidding may have picked up since the thread started though. And this thread doesn't have Speedmaster in the title 😉 ( it does have 'risk' though) 😉

I propose that everybody* just walks away from this one. It's the only fair way to handle the situation.

*because I'm the hero you deserve, I will continue bidding on it to make sure it stays "in the family"

I saw bad or has an inscription on the back?

Huff, short for Huffington, or a nick name for many other surnames like Hoffman or Houghton . . .

Could be modified to Hoff, without much hassle, to suit many members avatars 😉

Maybe i should ask for a commission from the seller for posting his item on this forum?

Didnt mean to divulge the watch for those who were watching it already. I'm just really curious if the seller just doesn't know what he has or if its a scam.

The weird thing to me is that the seller said they're unable to post additional pictures. They have great feedback but it's all with lower priced antique items, so it could be the case that they have no idea what's on their hands and also have no idea how to satisfy our requests.

He would just need to google vintage speedmaster and it would be pretty obvious what he has..........assuming its genuine.

Thankfully I dont have any watch funds just now otherwise I would have gone for this one.....

Many a keyboard has gone to heaven from a massive fist thump when a "hoper" sees his sleeper suddenly appear on a forum.

Mainly on WUS though, coz everybody here abides by gentleman's agreement.

Don't they?
