·I’m stuck in hospital with my son. Wish we’d had a nice salad instead of this.
So maybe we can work out who invented it by deduction. I’ll start with... it wasn’t German hospitals.

I’ll be curious what they find.
Since we’re on the subject of green stuff made in Switzerland, and a post is not complete without a picture, below is a picture from a recent trip to Lausanne.
Seriously the most beautiful salad I’ve ever seen, made by yours truly but the farmers who sell this mixture Place de la Palud are the ones who deserve the credit. I don’t usually take food pictures but this had to be memorialized.

Teams stopped playing to watch. Cricket club full, even of their tennis players. Extraordinary stuff (and lousy umpire!)
Tried to put a bet on England when they were 20/1 with 75 needed but one ball later it was 11/1. Just suddenly seemed doable.
I was sporting a Seiko 5.

That’s gorgeous. I chose my Tudor Pelago for the spaghetti and veggie meatball meal I made for the family. I got clean up of the substantially less anesthetically meal left in front of me.

Hospital food (?) like that is designed to encourage you to get well as soon as possible! This wasn’t the hospital ward of a German prison, was it? 😉

Actually we’ve only been here for a couple of days and if we’re lucky we might get to go home today so I think we’ll grin and bear it, and everything shuts down here on Sundays anyway so there was no chance for shopping yesterday.
And all this trouble started with my son and his school friend trying to grab the same pen 🤦
