You’re being politely told you missed on a deal and you were never entitled to receiving the watch let alone on your terms.

I’m assuming you are an American, and to be honest your post opens you to a credible libel lawsuit. Shafted implies being stolen from or conned. You experienced neither. Sometimes deals don’t work the way you want sometimes they do. Grow up and be a big boy and keep hunting what you were looking for.

Fair warning all if I have a drink tonight or this threads extends into tomorrow and I have a G&T or three, I may regress….

to be fair, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and didn't read his posts to closely to prevent any regressive personal issues. I also might have been baiting a bit.... Hey I am working on it!!!!

Steve D70, I feel your pain. There are a lot of members at Omega Forums who simply don’t get it. They’re just stupid. Most of them are also arrogant. Try the folks over at the Rolex Forums. They are great people - and SMART!

Yeah we all want to throw a small fit when we miss out on a watch. Just say a bad word like a normal person, and move on. I bet if you had offered 4,000 once he told you someone else was buying it for 3500, you'd have the watch. Pay or don't, but in this case you have your money, and no watch. So you ended up no worse than you started.

I’ve been away from OF for a while, but a thread that includes cretins, muppets and Homer Simpson (smiling politely) has made me realise what I’ve been missing; congratulations all. However this is the third page and there still hasn’t been a cat picture, so part of me is disappointed.

I believe he requested cat pictures, not Kahn pictures (but I guess the difference between superhumans bent on world domination and felines is pretty moot)

Talk about disappointment … I made it all the way to the end of this ridiculous thread and there was no cat bombing. Sheesh.
