Yep, here's my 38.5mm Skyfall ! Definitely one of the favorites in my collection 😀

I'm not a bracelet person usually, but the one on this just works for me. Bonus point is that the newer AT's rubber strap (38mm) also fits. Would happily recommend this watch !

Does the bracelet from your model fit new 38mm versions?

I'm guessing since the new strap fits the old, the old bracelet might fit the new ? But can't say with certainty since I've never tried it.

I’ve been wondering if the new rubber bracelets would fit on the 231.10.39.21.03.001 Skyfall. I wrote to my local AD and to Omega’s Customer Support, and both said no. Mind if I ask a few questions?

1) did you have to use some other springbars (curved?) to make the rubber strap fit?
2) what is the size of the strap at the lugs and at the foldover clasp?
3) Can you tell me the reference number of the strap, endlinks and possibly the clasp? ( I already have an 18mm Planet Ocean clasp, if that one fits, I figure there’s no need to buy another foldover)

Thanks man, for confirming that the newer rubber strap can be used on the 38,5 mm AT’s, now that AD’s and Omega Support can’t. Rangers… ahem.. WIS lead the way!

In my opinion the best iteration of the Aqua Terra....

I 100% Agree.

I lusted after one of these for quite a while, did the internet deep dive & tried to pull the pin on one located in the USA but the seller wouldn't ship to Aus. I ended up buying a PO GMT, but a Skyfall shaped hole in my collection remains.

An absolutely gorgeous watch.

Also in my opinion the best aqua terra in term of aesthetic, that silver frame at 3 o clock really hits differently.

So, I've owned this one and will be the detractor; the watch wears super thick. It's only 12.5mm but with its smallish case, felt out of proportion on my wrist and is the reason I let it go.

In terms of aesthetics though, unmatched.

Did you manage to find one?
This model is so hard to find... I'm still on the hunt after 2 years and not a glimpse of it being sold in Europe 🙁

I think so too. This is one of four watches on my want list. As far as ATs go, this is it. Both the 38 and the 41 are stunners. Nevermind the movie ties (my Bond was Brosnan).

There are a couple at Crown and Caliber if someone is still looking. Of course the price is a different story 😗

There's another one for $7200 that's in much better shape imho. I think last one on C24 for pretty close to that price.

I looked around and found a few, but wasn’t interested at the asking prices. I’ve gone back to picking up vintage pieces instead. This is my most recent acquisition. The Skyfall is nice, but it’s not in this league:

The hype train supercedes logic. I think Skyfall is a better watch than Oyster Prepetual (minus the bracelet) and look what OPs sell for.

I stumbled across this thread and, even though it's an old thread, I thought I would post the answers to these questions in case someone is searching the internet in the future.

1. The rubber strap for the 38mm AT absolutely fits the 38.5mm Skyfall and Master Co-Axial AT's. No special springbars are necessary. It doesn't surprise me that Omega customer service said they won't fit because they never recommend using a bracelet or strap that was not specifically sold with that particular watch. The clasp end of the rubber strap is 16mm.

2. The bracelet for the 38mm AT will also fit the 38.5mm with one modification: you need to clip off/grind the tabs on the edge of the end links so the end link will fit deeper between the lugs. But once that's done, it fits nicely. To make sure the end links don't wiggle at all, I use some double sided tape on the edge to create a good bond between the case and end links. The rubber strap doesn't need any modification because it doesn't have tabs on the edge in the first place.

To get the part numbers just contact an AD or boutique and they can look it up and order.

I think he meant the first ever Aqua Terra "Skyfall" as there are many alterations of the Skyfall, the 8800 (vertical teak but lacking the silver frame at 3 o'clock) and the 8900 (horizontal teak also lacking silver frame box and is at 6 o'clock). The 231.10.39.21.03.001 is the true Skyfall.
Your information is incorrect. The Cal.8800 only appeared in the AT on Gen 3 with the horizontal stripes. The vertical stripes version without a date window surround (Gen 2 v2.0) used the Cal.8500G, twin barrels, 60 hour power reserve and a time zone function. The 38mm third generation version with the date window at 6 O’clock has never used the Cal.8900 (an updated Cal.8500G with some new parts) it has always used the Cal.8800. As for the “Skyfsll” nickname this refers only to the 38.5mm blue dial Cal.8500 second generation AT as worn on screen in the movie Skyfall. There is another blue dial AT that has been worn on screen by Daniel Craig as Bond, the third generation AT 41mm Cal.8900 with a blue dial and all white/silver printing on the dial. It was worn in No Time To Die and was released alongside the green dial AT.
