·Hi everyone! I'm seriously considering to buy one of the first series Aqua Terra and I’d like to ask for some advice if you don’t mind on how to make an informed decision.
I zeroed in on two watches in very good conditions with a nice black dial (which would my preference) from a dealer that has good reviews. Both feature 2500 movements.
The first watch is from 2004 and comes with box and papers (from Japan as it’s often the case with these models). One thing I noticed is that this watch has the red “seal” on the back but I’m not sure what that means.
The second watch doesn't have any seal and it lacks box and papers (it's presumed to be from 2005-6 based on the serial number).
Here my questions:
- Would the absence of the seal be an issue?
- Does anyone have an idea of what would be a fair price?
Online, I've seen prices ranging from 2k euros for quite worn watches in Japan to 4/5k euros asked in Europe or the USA. The dealer is asking 3.1k euros for watch 2 and 250 more for the other one.
Thanks in advance for any help!
I’m including a couple of pictures as well 😀
