You know the one. I’m thinking about starting the hunt. Anybody have one? Would love to hear some reviews from members who are owners. Thanks.

I don’t have the skyfall but I do have a 38.5 from that generation and I love it. It’s very easy to wear due to its smaller size, I’ve worn it with a suit and on weekends with a t-shirt and it’s never out of place. I had the 41 but traded it, as I feel the AT works better in the smaller size.

Please elaborate. Are you saying that the watch pictured at the top of the thread is not the 38.5 mm reference 231.10.39.21.03.001 that Craig wore in Skyfall or did you mean that this reference is not the first generation of the Aqua Terra? I think that I had the wrong pic. Corrected now, I think.

The original and the only true "Skyfall".. some things to note comparing to the newer versions of the AT is the vertical teak dial vs the newer horizontal teak, the 60 hour power reserve vs the newer 55 hour power reserve, the white gold omega logo, hands and indices vs the newer stainless steel ?? (I could be wrong on this but I am 100% sure the original skyfall logo, hands and indices are white gold), and last but not least the most desired silver frame at 3 o'clock vs the frameless square box at 3 o'clock on the 8800 and the frameless square box at 6 o'clock. The 3 o'clock silver frame box is also the reason that made the original so sough after.

The photo you posted (Skyfall) is not the first generation of the AT.

This is what the 1st gen looked like (and I think it's the best version aesthetically).

I think he meant the first ever Aqua Terra "Skyfall" as there are many alterations of the Skyfall, the 8800 (vertical teak but lacking the silver frame at 3 o'clock) and the 8900 (horizontal teak also lacking silver frame box and is at 6 o'clock). The 231.10.39.21.03.001 is the true Skyfall.

I found mine in 2019. Mint condition w/ the wooden box.
I began the hunt be cause I had regretted selling my first AT 38.5 w/ grey dial.

I don't wear it as much as i thought I would. Considering how long i was looking for one in good condition, It kind of didn't live up to the hype i had built up in my head.
It's a great watch, lovely dial, perfect combination of vertical teak lines, framed date window at 3 o'clock and brushed CL bracelet and I don't see myself parting with it. But for me, it's more of a collectors piece I wear every now and then than a daily driver.

I have the vertical, plain date window, 41mm that was I think supposed to be the skyfall, but I’m told it only made a brief appearance in spectre….

I’m confused on the the whole skyfall thing, this watch used to come up first in a search of omega skyfall aqua terra… but I think it has since changed, up to a few months ago the link did have the word “skyfall” in it, but no mention in the description.

This is another blurb but no real info..

I didn't realize there was more than one "Skyfall"... the way I see it the Skyfall is a nickname of the one worn in the movie...all others are blue AT... Did Craig wear more than one blue AT in the movie?

Only the 231.10.39.21.03.001 AT was worn in the movie.
It is also the only AT referred to as Skyfall by Omega.

Yes - here another one.

Also did search quite some time, found a decently worn one at good price from a local seller and got it serviced by Omega - looks like new again and is a GREAT watch.

Although one of my „cheapest“ watches, enjoy wearing it a lot. It‘s very classy and goes equally well casual and formal. Also wears larger than the 38.5mm would suggest.

Should be obvious by now, but I can recommend it fully!
