Anyone have a 22mm original Omega strap?

Hey gang,

I've got a couple of 70's Omegas (Speedsonic, couple of Seamasters) with 22mm lugs.

I'd love to get some straps made (thinking Heuerville), but was wondering if anyone had original straps they could share so I've got some idea of what would have been fitted originally - google image search and old brochures aren't helping much. 馃槈

Also... 22mm lugs... 18 or 16mm buckle?

Cheers!

Chris

Have a search for Rodania.
They did some larger (22mm, 24mm) width straps in the perforated/racing style in the Sixties and they sometimes show up cheaply.
Often some 'funky' colours too which might suit your watches.
I think squinky usually has them, albeit at high prices, but worth an offer.

I recently bought some "Omega" straps from WatchObsession. The straps are pretty close to OEM, the non-OEM deployant clasp that I bought with them was rather low quality but really cheap, so I guess OK as a stop-gap solution.

These folks in the U.K. also do Omega straps as well as some very wild stuff...

Yeah... seen Stevo's work, very good, but not really my style.

The Heuerville rally straps are ace... thinks some cash might need to go that way 馃槈

I have to second Steveo's work - he will make to order if you can find a photo of an original and drop him an email. He's made a couple of bespoke straps for me and going to do another couple when he's back from holiday. Really easy to deal with as well.

Edit: he does follow the current trend of leaving edges unfinished unless you ask for them to be done.

I just bought this one(seller's picture) as a replacement for a blue one for my seamaster chronostop jumbo. The one I have now is blue but exactly the same style. (It is 22mm)

Interesting.... plastic "leather" from DuPont... groovy/sweaty.

Abel at heuertime.com makes a nice replica corfam (albeit out of leather, which is ironic since corfam was meant to be a cheap leather substitute). Recently sourced a correct buckle, too (16mm).
