I bet he didn’t contact the original owner and tell him the good news that he was in for a windfall..

He would be better holding it back and getting an extract of archives, once/if it’s confirmed an UM then he has provenance and top money..

Looks like the serial falls within the range 26079590. Might need to make a drive and take a look.
