Any rumors of a new Diver 300m?

I'd favor incremental changes over complete redesign for the SMP 300 at this stage. The current no-date version has a lot going for it imo and already wears like a 40mm due to the twisted lugs. As a case in point, just look at the speedy pro which shares the same lug design. It does not wear larger than the theoretically smaller FOIS. I think it's more myth than reality to say the 42mm SMP 300 and Speedy don't wear well on smaller wrists.

It's definitely not a myth on my 6.75 inch wrist. The previous generation SMP wears MUCH better on my wrist than the current generation.

It is not a myth on any wrist. The current model is noticeably chunkier than any of the previous models and wears like its 42mm IMO. The first gen wore more like 39mm its true but that was a lot thinner which makes a big difference in how it feels in use.

The Speedy Pro wear smaller because the bezel diameter is just under 40mm. The current SMP bezel diameter is a full 42mm. It's not the twisted lugs.

Yet oddly I find & mainly due to the case design, the 42mm of the Seamaster suits me and wears better than a 41mm BB, which itself is just shy of 41mm.

The case structure and lyre lugs help in the regard.

When I owned a Speedy (& I get all the spec regarding its size, bezel ect). But found due to the crystal size it visually appeared larger.

They look amazing on your wrist! Even better in person I bet since phone cameras always distort the proportions. Let me guess, a 17cm wrist or slightly less?

Thanks yes 16.5cm roughly.

The Speedy I had about 3yrs ago, and traded back to the AD for a Monaco (heart really wanted one). Oddly this was pre on the fly micro adjustment & couldn’t get a great fit on the bracelet.

As seen here (1st pic).

But think it looks great here (2nd pic)

And also here at an AD (3rd pic as I now want one back)

Seamaster I’m waiting to see if any update. But that’s the one current at the top of the next purchase tree
