1k+ already, looks like someone's on irrespective of the case.

Despite some unhealthy comments by enthusiasts and experts here, and also probably other forums, people still knowingly buy frankens and fakes. As a result of which, the die-hard and unscrupulous elements keep on producing this undesirable and eye-sore rubbish, unabated.

Thank-you.

No shot of the inside of the caseback? Guess they don't know how important that is.

The word 'truth' is not in their vocabulary, unfortunately.

Thank-you.

I wouldn't go that far, there are plenty of great watches around and this could easily be one of them, we just don't know yet

Let us hope, he genuinely and not conveniently forgot to shoot the inside of the back-cover, for us to see and decide, whether this watch is worth a consideration.

Thank-you.

I'm afraid that I have to concur with dsio on this one. The only issues I see here is overpolishing and wear to the case from harsh treatment in opening the watch.

I believe that including a photo of the caseback can only increase the amount that the watch will bring in to this seller. Having a qualified watchmaker take a peek behind the dial, looking for the 18K hallmark (that I'm sure is there), can also help enhance the amount ultimately realized.

I really think that this is real deal, just with some condition issues.

I think the seller should set the record straight, by letting us see what is found on the inside of the back-cover. By doing so, it is going to benefit all parties involved in the buying and selling of this hopefully rare item. Without disclosing all the important information, we can only speculate.

Thank-you.

Well the watch sold, for a rather dismal amount at $3,483, which compares to the $4,155 of my example, and $4,500 of my first example.

The biggest reason this watch went low IMO was how it was sold. The seller avoided posting a picture of the caseback, did not reply to requests to see that caseback, made odd remarks about the case in general, that it was rose gold, 18K, and also that it was stainless steel?! in the same slab of text in the listing. Too many red flags and dodgy information.

If you sell a watch, you must be precise, and verbose in your description, if you flake around it drives off buyers.

That and the case looks very heavily polished down...also the date window was sloppily glued back on. But I agree with what you have said as well.

It is a excellent price achieved, when taking into account some of the crucial questions remain unanswered.

Yours are genuine examples and by the standard of today, relatively cheap.

Thank-you.
