Yea, its sadly one of those watches where you'd be looking at it and seeing the little marks on the dial and the various other issues instead of just appreciating it, which when you're spending that much money you really want.

This confirms my assumption that it is very hard to find a deluxe with a gold band than grand luxe

When these watches were sold there was probably a small price difference between a grand luxe with gold bracelet and a deluxe with the same bracelet so I would speculate that most buyers opted to step up to the grand luxe. Many of the deluxe were sold with leather straps - in this configuration it would be a clear step down in price and also appeal to those who want a nice dress watch without the "bling" of the grand luxe.

This confirms my assumption that it is very hard to find a deluxe with a gold band than grand luxe

It is the same with Rolex situation. It is more difficult to find all gold Datejust with bracelet than all gold Dateday with all gold president bracelet.

I seem to recall seeing this a while back and a member confirmed the serial number matched the same watch sold on chrono24 for 8500 euros. attempting to find that link.. over 17k is stupid crazy money!! what do you guys thinks the range is for this one?

didn't knew this watch was discussed earlier.
so it's on sale from a time ... Thats good may be he will accept a reasonable offers now
