Just bought these three receivers cheaply at auction.

The R-5000 seems to go, the Frog makes appropriate noises and as for the Realistic, who cares.

Was only interested in the Kenwood, selling off the Frog will finance the entire deal as it was quite cheap, even the realistic might pay for the whole deal when I dispose of it.

Prices on this sort of gear have sky rocketed since lock down.

Also purchased a faulty Sayrosa 252 Mod meter from a Ham for cheap which arrived to day, took me 10 minutes to fix it so I am a Happy camper.

Not my photos, just the auction pics.

Outlet running a 40% off on Clearance items, so it was time to finally add a 9.5 Qt deep Dutch Oven.

Marine

Due to a thread here on the Forum, I’ll be baking/perfecting my sourdough bread this winter using this. Amongst many other comfort foods.

But a whole turntable for the cart and some parts cheap, might sell a part or tow for a profit.

I added to my collection of Pastushin Airtrays as I found an exquisite and rare Douglas DB7 Boston Bomber Airtray, circa 1939-1941, which was used by the RAF during WW2. It is rare to find one with the original clear ashtray insert and the bakelite tray intact.

I bought this last April, but due to COVID and various DMV either being shut down or limited service and the paperwork sorting ( was sold/traded between dealers using bills of sale) finally took delivery on 10/29. Then had to go to Connecticut to pick it up. It’s a 2008 BMW 650i had only 25k miles on it. Since 10/29 it been one big road trip.

A real barn find! Thankfully nothing too gross and it was easy to clean. Nice addition to one of my other hobbies. First batch into it will be 10 gallons of oatmeal stout 👍

14 gallon stainless steel fermenter - made by Stout

Bought my son an Oculus Quest for xmas. He wanted one last year and hasn't given up reminding me the last 11 months.
Persistent little bugger.
