Hi, I got another Connie. Ref.14393 61SC, arrowhead index gold-capped, cal.561, serial number 19,6xx,xxx. Please see pic below

I was just about to post

"I think you posted the wrong pic
that one is a cal 505 15,1xx"

the one you just posted is a dogleg though - not a 14393

a cal 561 with a 19,6xx would put it around '62/'63 so could well fit into that transitional phase where arrow head dials were still around

Now that鈥檚 an early 14381.
Note the dial has the full text.
So question is if @1jansen ,s last one started life as a dogleg that has the wrong case back ?

Anyone else got a late arrowhead dial?

Desmond's comments to me:

And the dial feet had not been cut off, and were in the correct locations.

14381-1
Serial 17,000,xxx

You are a lucky man! A stunning stainless steel 14381-1 with arrowhead, aged original lume. In deed, special lume embossed in the arrowheads.
Awesome!!
Thanks for sharing.

Hello there,
Mine is a 14393 -61 SC for cal 561 (not for 551). The caseback is surely correct for the arrowhead dial.

If you are looking for a later version, I have another one. Ref. 14902/3 SC 62 in 18K YG Cal.561 Serial no.19,6xx,xxx with arrowheads as below.
I would suppose this is the one mentioned by Desmond in reply to TexOmega re an uncommon version in arrowhead. Your views are welcome.

now that is interesting
the serial and 'complete text' puts it around '62/'63 - so pretty late for an arrowhead dial
nice watch -congratulations

what I meant was that the case is a dogleg (14902 / 168.005)
but the case back is for a 14393
as arrowhead dials could be in either 14902 or 14393 - either could be correct
(but not both together 馃槈)

Please pardon me cuz English is not my mother tongue.
So, the 2nd gold-capped Constellation is with matching case of 14393. Everything should be original.
Thank you for the information.

I think you have my meaning
the case back is wrong for the case
but the dial could have originally started off with either (on the assumption that the case was a 14902 not a 168.005)
I think a 14381 or 14393 with arrow head was posted recently -and that was considered uncommon.
Just saw this thread. Here are my SS 14393 and 14381 with arrowhead markers, without the "Officially Certified" text. Both have serial nos. in the 18,xxx,xxx range. Didn't know they were considered uncommon. I had thought that it was more uncommon to see arrowhead Connies with date, i.e with the Cal 561...
