They'd be an LE with some rando Astronaut's name attached. You'd all be drooling forever.

Sorry to be the Debbie Downer. In an alternate universe, they'd sell them for $5000 and we'd all have one.

Don’t know of any astronauts who flew a SpeedyMoon, but feel free to point out if I’ve missed something.

Yeah, I get it, but from an outsider's view (I don't own a moonwatch) it seems that every model has been given some nickname based on something or other: Batman, Skunk Prince, Ritz, Wolfman, etc. I suppose the reality is that the models (or something close to them) were once associated with an actual astronaut.

Forgive my ignorance.

this would be the dream watch, I wonder however if we are more likely to get this from Universal with the relaunch (possibly down the line), if they re did the exotic dial or just the evil/clapton 88101

This looks awesome, I'd go for the first / grey one all day long. Great design!

While we're waiting for that to come out, I'll try to be satisfied with this one...

Yeah. So weird how O just completely closed the chapter on one of their coolest Speedmasters ever and moved on to weird uncanny valley Moonphase variants.

The problem with UG is… the B people told me at a B event that it would be priced around JLC type money. So Master Control = $10k (lol at JLC price increases btw).
But then Kern gives an interview and says the Polerouter will be $15k. So imagine how much a Tri Compax would cost.

The 1866 is something truly special for incredibly affordable market pricing

my IG buddy @watchstick_81 told me I need to post these photoshops I created. If O made these using a new 3866 movement, I might actually die and go to heaven.

Hi, you've to apply for a job at Omega as you've created a great photoshop. These variants of speedies are just much better than the real ones. Congratulations👍👍👍

They would never hire me after all the rants I dropped upon seeing the new Moonphase release 😂

But when they do something good, I’m just as vocal and do not shut up with my praise of them.

Well done buddy! These renders look amazing! Would be cool if the caseback would feature an "earth rise" animation, something like with the Silver Snoopy 50th. Then I can sell that one and get your blue one 😀 ....

That poster is the backdrop for all of my Lego NASA models.
