Am I missing a seconds hand here?

Bought a watch on eBay, the ST 396.0888, with an integrated bracelet which looks amazing.

Couple of issues - one, the watch isn't running and two it appears to be missing a seconds hand!

Did some of these watches omit a seconds hand?

(The listing didn't mention the watch was not working and I assumed the minutes and seconds hand wee stacked on each other from the photos!)

Thanks!

I love the term "amazing" and how it's been the latest catch word for a few years. That watch/bracelet combo is far from amazing and the second hand is clearly in the first picture. It would be "amazing" if it went missing in the second picture.

Dress watches typically do not have seconds hands.

(they also do not typically have date windows either.)

Yes, your watch is missing it's second hand, you can see the naked post here.

And if it isn't running now it probably won't after putting a new battery either.

Yes, two things are missing ... a sweep hand and "amazingness." 😉

Thank you for the amazing responses here, @X350 XJR appreciate the response!

The eBay seller claims the battery ran out from dispatch to delivery (next day) so it'll be fun trying to get my money back.

All round amazing!
