Notice the difference between my quoted text and my post? I changed my mind as I was typing and warmed to it a little despite the heavy polish.
The bezel may we’ll be a 60s one but the reality is they are worth less than a DON. A lot less. My ? Indicated that I wasn’t sure but the price difference figure is probably right either way. That is a pretty decent watch for the asking price if you can live with the polish and the fact it hasn’t got a DON. I probably could but am not in the market for another EW at present!
I think pulsation ones are the most desireable of the "special" bezels, but that's just the impression I get (I would love one more than DON too).
Have you seen one for sale recently ? I know of some people that would gladly pay more for a vintage pulsation or telemeter bezel, and I'm one of those as far as the pulsations is concerned.
Then what are you waiting for? €8500 sounds cheap if the bezel is that desirable. Just a button click away!
I'm quite set on Ed Whites, and I'm not sure splurging 11k£ for a bezel is a good idea. I'm just saying that given the rarity of the special bezels, their value is, at least to me, equal to a DON (given they're in similar conditions of course). Agree with @Exiztence , pulsations is the coolest of the bunch
