Advices regarding vintage Seamaster 2802 cal 471

Hello all,

I just bought the following Seamaster on a whim and am now pondering what to do with it:

Main reason for buying it was the dial, which I find attractive as it foreshadows to some extent some modern Aqua Terra models. Having now the watch in hand, I can see it is far from perfect:
- The crown is (obviously) not original nor an omega crown from roughly the same time period
- The caseback mention "2802-7 SC", which might possibly mean that the watch is either a redial and / or a replacement caseback (my online research showed that this kind of dial was more associated with the 2802-2 model, even though I find it super difficult to assert this)
- The dial is a bit titled compared to the lugs axis (not obvious but still bugging me)
- The caliber 471 in the watch is absolutely not working, you can even hear pieces jiggling around when you move the watch

=> Overall I am not sure what to do with this watch. Is it worth it having it repaired / restored in your opinion? What kind of financial commitment would that be? (say for example I were to entrust it to Omega themselves)

Ha and the cherry on top is that the strap and buckles are not Omegas and almost destroyed themselves (which I assume means that if I were to send it to Omega for repairs, I would probably have to buy a new strap and super expensive gold buckle from them)

Any advice and opinion would deeply be appreciated 😀

Your suspicions about the dial are well founded. It has been redialled.
