I'm putting up for sale my c. 1956 Seamaster 2802. I'm asking 350 USD + shipping.

Photos - I've done my best to photograph the watch honestly. If you'd like more detailed photos of any part of the watch, just let me know.

Dial, Hands, and Crystal - The dial has a very nice even patina and the text all seems original to me. The gold hands and indices are in good condition. The crystal has the Omega logo, but it has several deep scratches that may not polish out.

Case - Stainless steel. Approximately 33.5 mm diameter excluding the crown. Lug width is 18 mm. The case is honest and, I believe, unpolished. Some scratches are visible.

Movement - Omega 471, unknown service history.
The watch sets, winds, and runs poorly (starts and stops - please see my first comment below). The movement looks clean, but a service will be required before regular wear. I notice a slight wobble in the hands when setting the time, likely due to the central hole in the main plate being worn.

Head only- The watch will be sold head only.

Payment - The price is 350 USD plus the cost of shipping from the US (shipping preferences to be discussed via PM). I would like payment through Wise, bank transfer, Venmo, or PayPal F&F. I am willing to consider requests for other methods of payment from well-established forum members who participate regularly.

I put the watch on a strap and on a bracelet to get a few wristshots. I kept it on around the house for a few hours and noticed that it was not keeping time and was starting and stopping, even after giving it a few winds. So, as I mentioned above, it needs a service. I reduced the price a bit and updated the description.

I was getting ready to put this one up on eBay, but decided to give it one last bump here before I do.
