Looking at possibly buying a Seamaster and from comparing the pics to the Omega site and some here it looks legit BUT, seller says “it runs but date/ day is broken or either I can’t figure out how to set it”. He’s asking $450. If I have to pay to repair day/date is the price right?

No way this would worth that much money! The dial is in bad shape even without the two holes at ‘26 and ‘56.
From the photos I would say the rotor it touching the caseback and the case might have some pitting going on between the lugs. From my own experience cal 1020 is not a great movement.

My advice is to walk away.

Not worth that money. Dial damaged at 11 and 5. Defective movement, which isn't that good to start with. Crown looks dubious.

You’re much better off looking for a 5** series movement IMHO
