Good Evening Everyone,

I purchased this watch a few days ago for a total of $ 902 CAD, after searching and investigating, I got tempted to post this inquiry here to get further advice and confirmation.

Previously, on Omega Forum and online, after deep internet investigation, I came to common counterfeit junk Omega watches from Ukraine, very overvalued and sold way overprice; therefore, I came to conclusion that I eventually got scammed.

Kindly, you may please confirm and tell me what do you think about this purchase?

It will help me and I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for support!

Look its what we know as a marriage watch - they put an old movement into a new case + dial.
Theres countless threads on here.

At the end of the day you have to ask why you bought it for $900? If its because you liked the look of it and will wear it, then awesome, enjoy!
If you bought it because you heard "OMEGAAAAA" and thought you are investing money into a share that will go up 2-3 times in a few years, then you most definately will not make money.

You can find these for a lot cheaper - cheapest I've seen is 2-300$.

Ultimately the work looks reasonably decent, the strap is a bit whatever, but each to their own.

If you expected an investment, sorry.
If you want someone to confirm its not a bad looking watch, sure it looks okay, I would possibly wear it if I wasn't a vintage collector with genuine omegas in my collection.

Not made by omega. Sorry.

The movement was originally made by Omega, it looks to be a Caliber 19''' and originally would have looked like this.

It was then engraved/skeletonised by an artisan in the Ukraine.

The sale description is quite clear about what isn't Omega (case/strap) but is a bit "vague" about the work done on the movement.

I don't think the OP got scammed, he's getting exactly what the photos show and the description almost portrays.

Shouldn’t you at least be able to see the wheel pinions in these 2 bushings??

You probably could see the pivots (not pinions) if they were correctly set and adjusted for depth and end shake, however I suspect that's not the case.

If you look at the corresponding wheels on the face side, you'll see the pivots are quite proud of the plate.
