Advice for aftermarket NATO straps - opinions?

I have a couple of the Phoenix straps for my CWC - they’re very hard wearing, quite thick, and nowhere near as soft/flexible as some other options, but just the thing for diving.

Hi

What is the reference number for that CWC please?

Thank you! I ordered from CNS late last week. I'm assuming they ship from Holland given the paypal address(?).

I've found a few nonamerican shops, but would much prefer a domestic business to patronize.
Cheapest NATO Straps is a quite interesting topic on its own. It used to be based in Sweden and me and some Swedish friends have bought a few straps from there. However, their customer support refuses to communicate in Swedish, albeit it's probably not language barrier being the problem. Some time ago the company moved their registration address to the British Virgin Isles and I don't know the reason for this. Now I read from you that their PayPal address is in the Netherlands, which is yet another location for this firm.

I've never had any problems with their deliveries so I don't think you need to worry. The last time I bought from them they were based in BVI and still sending their packages from the Stockholm region.

Sorry, Im a little late to respond. So, the registration via paypal labeled the company as Stockholm AB, but the email address for payment ended in .nl Anyhow, I didn't realize until after I clicked to pay that my straps would come from across the pond. Prices were in USD and I didn't think twice. They did have a bit of a shipment delay most likely due to the 'Rona, so its no biggie. My only gripe is shipping via DHL. I have previously purchased a pair of Displates for my classroom and didn't know until after my order processed that they are made in Warsaw. Again, not a problem, but DHL mandated a signature and I missed the delivery driver by five minutes. Which means that I had to drive an hour to the warehouse to sign for items in person. I'm hoping I don't have to do that again.

On an another note, I have found some nifty items that are Omega related shipping out of Europe and have been spoiled with Amazon Prime for the past few years...I did email Sofie at CNS and asked about a design I saw on Etsy; a Reverse Bond - gray with two interior black stripes! And I did score a black/red crafter blue for my recently acquired Black Bay 😀

I think the toxic nato straps are great. The guys on TGN really hype those straps but in all fairness, they're great.

First off, I'm not a NATO strap guy. Too bulky, and a little too casual for some of my watches.
However, I really liked the Syrah color of this Chevron style strap from Crown and Buckle, and I've been very pleased with the fit, since it folds away the excess under the buckle, and keeps the watch fitting snug on the top of my wrist. Second photo captures the deep burgundy color pretty closely. Seems fairly durable, $32. Comes in many other colors. You can see it on a Speedy at their site.

I'd second @redzer007 and the rest on Erica's Originals, but also take a look at StrapCode's two-piece nylon straps. They're go-anywhere, don't bulk up the watch, and you don't get NATO burn on the caseback....

Hi there I purchased a nato strap of eBay for around £13 19mm black and grey 5 stripe one for my de ville the daily watch I wear as been a jcb driver it’s about to get some serious stick and up to now the few months I’ve had it seems to hanging in there, as for the price I don’t think you can’t go wrong I’ve fancied a orange and grey 5 striped one but not been able to find a 19mm one yet in which really sets the watch off.
