Omega Seamaster 300 Free NATO Straps: Worth It?

I bought the Seamaster 300 with dark blue dial. The dealer gave me a couple free straps. I just received the NATO strap in dark blue. Is it just me, or are the 'free' straps just cheap? I don't think I would pay $20 for this if I came across it in the store. Are there two straps? One if you buy for $200 ish and one for giving away?

Omega's straps go between 'really nice' and 'meh' in general. Unless 'authentic' matters to someone for straps, they are not worth anything near the ~$250 they charge. I'm guessing they make a TON of profit on them.

Are you sure the free ones were Omega straps? Granted, I'm not a big fan of Nato straps.

Okay, looking further, one of the reasons I don't like the watch band is they sent me the polyester blue and not the polyamide dark blue. On the website, its a very different look between the two. Ugh.

Get a custom strap from Delugs, TheStrapTailor or Genteel-handmade, depending on your region, you won't regret it. For half the price of Omega with superior quality. No-brainer.

Yes, the polyamide straps are far nicer, I don’t use any of the polyester ones i bought
