By the way, when looking on the FS section for connies, you can always PM some experienced members for some questions. They can help you. You even could start a thread if you have any questions. This way you can make sure you will buy a genuine connie in good condition. $ 1100 will take you far in connie domed dial land. Pie pans will be more difficult.

·Please get a full refund and do not take the watch. This advice comes from a place of having made far worse purchases myself, not from a place of judgement. I think most if not all of the advice here comes not from a snobby collector point of view, but rather trying to save you the pain of our past mistakes.

So true. Taken under tungsten lighting..........makes everything garish.

I'm so happy to be a part of such a helpful forum.
The advice received on this issue has definitely increased my knowledge about dog leg Omegas, matching Cals to correct cases, poorly fitted end-links etc.
