Myself included, it's sad that we are so close to experts, get instant replies on any watch review, yet, we keep on making mistakes like this

The first red flag for me would have been those horribly enhanced photos. I get dizzy just looking at them.

$1100.00
Sorry. Missed your answer. But you've got some great advice. I would follow that advice.

By the way, when looking on the FS section for connies, you can always PM some experienced members for some questions. They can help you. You even could start a thread if you have any questions. This way you can make sure you will buy a genuine connie in good condition. $ 1100 will take you far in connie domed dial land. Pie pans will be more difficult.

Good luck!

Please get a full refund and do not take the watch. This advice comes from a place of having made far worse purchases myself, not from a place of judgement. I think most if not all of the advice here comes not from a snobby collector point of view, but rather trying to save you the pain of our past mistakes.

However .............. maybe it’s human nature to learn the hard way 🤔

So true. Taken under tungsten lighting..........makes everything garish.

Thank you so very much.

I'm so happy to be a part of such a helpful forum.

The advice received on this issue has definitely increased my knowledge about dog leg Omegas, matching Cals to correct cases, poorly fitted end-links etc.
