What do you guys think? Are they genuine?

Don't look like any replicas I've been seeing online and based on this thread (springbar thickness, markings, wear), I'd guess genuine though some other 'PAT' examples seem to be accompanied by "BRT" or "BRVT" - but I would defer to more experienced members of the forum.

Any gold 16mm??
I've sold a few and the 16mm I have I've saved for myself. I'll see if there are anything in store for you. And the answer will be the same to you @purplecat, sorry

I may be in need of a steel 14mm if you've got extra as well. Waiting to see for sure what the strap will measure at.

Asked an auctioneer for specific photos of this buckle. It is attached on an vintage genuine Omega band. What about the buckle? ”Montal stainless” is engraved on the inside. Fake?

Could be an Omega licencee. There was no uniformity on these buckles.

Montal buckles are frequently found, they mostly apear in the UK. Most of them are goldplated... SS ones are less common,

So what you are saying is that this buckle is original? Do you have any clue what era they are from? Looks like a 40’s type of shape buckle but with the omega logo attached on it.

Most likely is original. I think you have the correct time period.

So i was right? I made my guess based on the shape of the buckle. But i Did not know that buckles from the 40s also came with the Omega logo attached. I thought they were all blank on outer side and Omega engraved on the inner side

All depends on who made it. There are a lot of different genuine straps out there. In the US, for example, it looks like Jacoby-Bender made some straps for Omega.

Original strap from connie pie pan
That’s good to know - I have a lot of this style buckle. It’s nice to know what they came on.

It is an original Omega buckle, not to worry! I think I may have made a post with my one somewhere within this thread. Nonetheless, here it is again.

And while I'm here, let me add another buckle to this database, one which I recently acquired after a long hunt.

A width of 16mm. I believe from the 30s - I could be wrong, please correct me if I am!

I think these are modern reproductions. The “Acier Inox” is too perfect. Looks laser engraved, which was not used by Omega in the late 1960’s.
