Re: SM120 bezels, I really wish someone would make bezels the same way Uncle Seiko is exploring making vintage inspired bracelets for the Speedmaster. I love my ghost orange bezel, but I'd really like to have one that I can switch out that's brighter.

I agree- although many would scoff at the idea, I’m not a fan of too much wabi-Sabi. I was thankful that I could get a service bezel for my Speedy which totally made it pop whereas the factory DNN was haggard and shabby (in storage now for the next owner when I die).
My 120 does have a very nice even patina, but a rich dark bezel (as opposed to the grey fading bezel) would be nice as a personal choice- again keep the original for the next owner to choose.

That’s the one. I regret selling it to @JwRosenthal
Thanks Dave.
I thought is looked fishy at first but Dave provided an extract and the 12 year old at the Omega Boutique who was topping off my coffee said it was “legit” - I think his exact words were Damn-dude that thing is legit!” So I felt comfortable paying $3k for it.

The initial offer was $12k. I am glad that he challenged me on the provenance though. Backstory: I paid a premium after being told that Sean Connery wore it as James Bond in Kung Fu Panda II. It turns out the certificate of authenticity was faked. Weird, because that never happens in vintage watches.

I really put the screws to Dave on that one-only an extract and no Connery provenance-pshaw! At least the extract proves it’s the real deal

Clearly a fake extract, it's a Pandamaster, not a Seamaster. 😁

Ha! Like I’m gonna take your word for it! What could you as a lifelong collector/ seller and veteran member of the Omega Forum possibly know-that extract proves it’s the real deal!

And Dave would never lie to me, no we only met in a dark alley and it was a cash transaction, and he ran away laughing after he took my money- but that’s just becuase he was so thrilled it was going to a knowledgeable buyer

So, now I’m gonna post a new thread on my Pandamaster and ask everyone to give me descriptive points and information so I can sell it on eBay.
