For sale is an Omega Geneve 135.041 handwound Calibre 601 in stainless steel circa late 1960s. The watch is all original with correct crown, dial and hands and is in very nice condition. I've just had this watch serviced (picked up two days ago) by my watchmaker including a new caseback seal and it is keeping excellent time, winding and setting smoothly. The 601 is a very reliable manual winding version of the Calibre 55x series automatic, one of the most solid of the era. The dial and hands are beautiful with both the dial furniture and hands being in yellow gold and the dial has a really nice pearly white colour with no discolouration. Both the dial and hands are tritium and fully intact with a nice coffee coloured patina to match the gold. All photos below can be clicked on to view the full 2560 wide version of the pic to see fine detail, there may be some dust or fluff on the crystal. Asking price is US $500 + ship, payment by paypal.
There will be five newbies asking about redialled eBay watches by the morning that should be jumping on this fine watch instead.. GLWS
