A strange Polertouer? Pre-Sub model?

Hi OF and UG enthusiasts,

I come over a person's photo on Facebook and also a collector from Vietnam, please take a look and discuss about this never-before-seen UG Polerouter (at least for me and some other friends who have never seen it before). After asking, it runs on cal. 215.

Qymybz0.jpg

How legitimate it is? A prototype? Anyone see another example before?

First of all, IMHO I think it is a nice watch, and it shares a design philosophy with more common Polerouter Sub, and wordings is sharp, execution on the watch is certainly UG-ish. The crown area looks a bit skeptical. Though, I have no idea if this is an original dial. For you guys - the experts - to discuss.

I'm asking for more photos

All the best,
Kevin

Franken redialled rubbish.

The same Vietnamese seller has a whole collection of redials.

Apologies for my rash response but this is someone that we know is creating redials.

Here are a couple more pictures of the above watch.

The first shows the watch before he decided to change the hands, presumably to make them more Sub-like. The second picture shows the case back - at first glance it appears like a Microtor case back in very good condition but look more closely at the spelling!

I got it now!! Thanks @Mazoue !

Was quite not understand you yesterday after your comment, so I kept quiet.

The 2nd replies said it all! And I believe so too.

Enjoy another photo of the case back “limited” sticker from the same source:

Hilarious detail with the misplaced R on the caseback 😁

Do you mean "UNIVESAL" or "POLERROUTER" or both? 😉

Yep, that one. It must have felt alone in the Universe and wandered over to the Polerouter 😉

They are all from the same source as OP watches, which clearly states redial and wrong typo on caseback. So it would bring questions those watches I posted as well. For example look at the 6 on the Breitling...

Agree! They look fine. I just find that the suveran hands were relumed and the breitling 789 hands are not the exact ones

If those are all redials I’d like the guy’s contact info so I can send him one of my project watches.
To my admittedly uninformed eye they look great, and that fake Polerouter indeed has a very cool design.
The price of course is the catch...

G'damn the last three look nice to me. I hope its more a statement of the redialers skill and not my eyesight.👎
