No you don’t. Horses are beautiful, majestic creatures, live for 30+ years and represent expense and debt beyond your wildest dreams.
But my watches can't drive me around on a sleigh in the winter.
My grandfather kept a horse when he retired from dairy farming, and did odd jobs at a horse breeder to pay for room and board. In the summer I'd go help him clean the stalls and brush his horse. I remember the owner always wearing a T-shirt that said "I used to be rich until I fell in love with horses."
Boy, they are majestic though.
Remember this spring’s foal - Rhaegal - born at my daughter’s farm? Well, he’s growing up fast! He’s a Dutch Warmblood. Quite the prancer and he’s gonna get big!
