A few weeks later, I bought my second Omega 135.012

Just picked up my second Omega from my watchmaker after getting it serviced.

It’s very similar to my first one, same caliber, no day/date, but I think I might have a small obsession with these simple looking ones from the 60s. I like how this one is a bit smaller than my Genève as I have small wrists.

It only took me a few weeks to buy another watch, which is pretty concerning, and I already know what I want next.. No regrets, but my wallet is crying.

Very handsome. Playing with different straps for it will keep you entertained. A peanut colored alligator, a navy blue ostrich, cordovan saddle leather, dark brown croc...mat vs glossy finish...each strap gives the watch a new personality...enjoy in good health.

Thank you! I ordered one earlier today from Etsy.
Do you have any recommendation on where to buy some of the straps you've mentioned?
Or any members here that make straps? I'd love to support.

There is a fellow who is in the mid-west and does stunning work. His straps are made to order so it pays to look at his choice of skins, and dialog with him by email. And he will give you a price based on what you decide you want. He is not inexpensive...but brand name crap made in China can now cost $250. So in that respect...$305 for a very top of the line custom made exotic skin is a great deal. And he has lower prices based on what you specifically are looking for. Check him out. The great part is that you will get a strap made to your size...not something you will be punching holes in to try and make fit later. Velle Alexander: Exceptional Handmade Leather Watch Straps
