Only just discovered this thread after all these years. I don’t post a lot but I “like!” a lot. You may have noticed. I’ve worked out I’m a month older than JiminOz, but missed out on his mechanical expertise. I’m more for the aesthetics of the watch – elegance and cool are what I like.

This pic is of me and my 2nd grand-daughter earlier this year.

That is a lovely picture. A perfect picture on Thanksgiving. I honestly teared up. Just beautiful.

So many friendly people here and what a great idea to start this thread. I will go the easy way and instead of liking all the pics I just want to say: Hi to all I had contact to before and these I am to have contact in the future. Such a great expierience to be with a bunch if watchcrazy people. Stay healthy and enjoy life,

Wow, I never knew that pump pushers already existed in the 1940s! Very cool!

Mounted Police Breeches. For ceremonies we had straight ones that looked a bit nicer. And no, I was not about to “go” in the bushes.

Here are more shots of the till. According to my extensive research it was produced between 1942 and 1944

This thread is running for 6 years now. A positive take on Omega collectors , quirky sometimes. But that's how we are. Positive. No need to pose with a negative item; our Watches are positive to us. Therefore I have cropped the picture to stay that course. If a USA based moderator wants to delete my post again, because it is "Normal" in your World, let me tell you , the other 80% of international members don't see it that way.

Dogs are always welcomed. Very often Dogs/ insert your favourite animal here .../ are the better part of us.

I am not a gun person, but I think the firearm shows a hobby / interest that is important to @The Father. It seems completely appropriate to the thread. You and I might view the image of the gun as a negative thing, but the mods have made it clear that discussion of such topics is OK here. As such, it seems to me that your post brings politics into an otherwise friendly introductions thread.
