OK. I'll come clean this time.
My thing about pictures is I am rarely the subject. So this picture is maybe not RARE! or even HARD TO FIND! just sort of uncommon.
Here in the Low Country it's semi-tropical. So a snow day is very rare and uncommon. So we all take the day off to avoid crashing our cars. Go ahead you northern dwellers and laugh. We laugh at you the rest of the Winter.
Anyway my better half was amused at the snow collecting in my eyebrows and hair and borrowed my phone for a picture.
As it’s Christmas and I’m feeling rather mellow after a very nice lunch with my son and his partner I’ll join in. The first pic some of you will have seen before as I posted it in November, my better half and I on our wedding day in November 1969. The second photo is my wife (the same one!) on her birthday in Lake Garda in September this year and the last photo is of me today, and before any comments I am well aware of which of us has aged better, I consider myself very fortunate, I have only had to pay for one house and no divorce costs!
Now that I am retired my wife still works part time, being a University academic, and shows no sign of wanting to stop.
Happy days indeed. Merry Christmas and a Good New Year to all.

I don't smoke, let alone Parliaments, but my Grandmother did, and she and my Grandfather visited Carmel By The Sea annually, so needed a photo op for the siblings.
Under the sleeve is an 1861 Speedy, covered up given the cool overcast October day.
Update 6 years later : Today. Now 74 years young. My older daughter , Dr. Liza with her first Child at 34 years . Which is Ivy, 6 months "old" . It was the end of a perfect summer's day just around the corner from the Australian Beach town, where I live.
