I think this 70’s style thread is also appropriate considering many of the hair styles we all are sporting these days!

Damn you guys got some wild 70’s pieces. Every now and then I’ll run into something odd at a strange place. This is a 70’s rado I found at a flea market for 10 bucks. It’s an ugly little thing but it has that seventies vibe. I forgot I had it until I saw this thread.

I’m at work now and I wanted to include a shot of these face masks that some people living in the city our facility is in made on a 3-D printer. The city I work in declares us front line workers, I just found that out glad someone told me. I certainly didn’t get a pay increase but I’ve now been awake for 72 hours as I keep getting called in. Anyway these very nice people make these face masks and bring them to medical facilities around the city. They also have a seventies Darth Vader look to them. They caught me on the way in and handed me three bags of them. I gotta say these bad times have brought out some good in many people. Very nice of them to do. Damn I think the masks are actually cooler than the watch. By the way the rado was just something I picked up when I was into watches just not spending time learning about them. Snap I’m back to edit. These ladies brought over more masks, bags of cloth masks they sewed and more 3D printed ones. I’ll just add one more picture I know this is about watches but these ladies are doing this for every health related business in the city. Way cool on them.

Seiko 5 6119-5460 from 1974. Could this have inspired the Nautilus???? 😝

Super sexy 70’s dive watchery. Warning: DO NOT take any of these in the water. Not even rain. And I challenge anyone to match or surpass THREE rotating bezels. Or that hour arrow that’s bigger than the buttons on Mad Dog’s game boy.
I can just hear the conversation in the design room... so what do the kids like these days...they like tachymeter’s....no, dive bezels....but what if they have aspirations for travel...it’s gotta to look like a dive watch....or maybe....oh shit, just throw it all on.

Incoming tomorrow after acquisition and service: Dugena Chronograph looking alarmingly like a Breitling Bullhead. But maybe Dugena inspired Breitling...

Check out those 3D indices!

A little of the original bracelet in this shot.

This is probably my favorite though, and is not one I own:

And why not this one for good measure? (also not one of mine) Pretty sure this is from the '70s:

I do not know much about this watch. I bought 6+ years ago because I liked the look. I do not wear it very often, but it is quite cool looking.

I LOVE those 3D indices, that’s such a cool watch 👍

What’s a ‘Chris Craft’? Is that some kind of water/space vehicle for anyone called Chris?!? Or is it a watch dedicated to the boatbuilder?

And another story from "SINN"

They changed their logo, somewhere in the 70´s, only for a short time.
Not many watches where sold with this new Logo, inspired by the space age design.

I got one of those watches 😀
