Six months is a painfully long time to have to wait.
I picked up a Speedy "TinTin" a few weeks ago that is under lock and key until my 50th B-day on 2/19. The wait is killing me.

It's a Chinese tradition (or so I have been told...Or made up? No... Told, definitely told) that you exchange watches with your partner on your wedding day. The symbolism is that the watch signifies how long your love will last.
Giving a "cheap" watch shows that you don't expect your love to last very long because "cheap" watches break easily. Giving an "expensive" watch shows that your love will last forever because "expensive" watches are built to last. And that boys and girls is how I got my first Omega watch.
